Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who came to Indonesia in May 2011 reached 600.2 thousand people or edged up 0.03 percent compared to the number of tourists in May 2010 that as many as 600.0 thousand people. When compared with April 2011, the number of foreign tourists in May 2011 decreased 1.30 percent.
The number of foreign tourists to Bali through Bali's Ngurah Rai airport in May 2011 rose 4.73 percent compared to May 2010, from 199.4 thousand to 208.8 thousand in May 2011. Meanwhile, if compared to April 2011, the number of foreign tourists to Bali has decreased by 6.95 percent.
The cumulative (January ─ May) 2011, the number of tourists reached 2.92 million, up 5.64 percent compared to the number of tourists in the same period in 2010 as many as 2.77 million people.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) star hotels in 20 provinces in May 2011 reached an average of 52.13 percent, up 1.11 points compared with TPK in May 2010 by 51.02 percent. Similarly, when compared to April 2011 the hotel TPK, TPK-star hotel in May 2011 rose 0.03 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesia in the starred hotels in 20 provinces during May 2011 was 1.96 days, an increase of 0.06 days compared to the situation in May 2010.
